Perspecta Adopts GL Studio For Cockpits and Dashboards

The DiSTI Corporation, the global leader in commercial HMI software and architecture consulting services, signed an agreement with Perspecta, Inc., to develop two-dimensional (2D) cockpit and dashboard panels for accident investigation and analysis training. The 2D panels will be implemented by the U.S. Army Combat Readiness Center (USACRC) Digital Collection and Analysis and Integration Lab (DCAI) located in Fort Rucker, Alabama.

Perspecta has provided flight data management and Military Flight Operations Quality Assurance for more than 20 years bridges the gap between regulatory requirements and daily technical solutions for flight safety, maintenance effectiveness, and operational efficiency.

GL Studio for rapid development of virtual instrumentation will develop more than 40 cockpit and dashboard panels for Perspecta in support of the following vehicles:

  • DHC-8-315 Aircraft
  • DHC-7-100 Aircraft
  • FMTV Cargo Shelter
  • LMTC Cargo Shelter
  • Stryker
  • MRAPS 4 Wheel
  • MRAPS 6 Wheel
  • M1A1 Abrams
  • M2/M3 Bradley
  • HMMWV Passenger/Cargo
  • HEMMT Cargo/Tanker

GL Studio is a powerful, intuitive, and object-oriented HMI development tool that enables programmers in any industry to create state-of-the-art, reusable 2D or 3D graphical user interfaces. These interfaces can apply to maintain or replicating even the most complex systems, including military aircraft, cockpit displays, automotive dashboards, process controls, and communications equipment.
