DiSTI Welcomes Jason Thagard

The DiSTI Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Thagard as President, effective immediately. Mr. Thagard succeeds Joe Swinski, co-founder and long-serving President, who will transition to a strategic role as Vice Chairman on DiSTI’s Board of Directors.

Under Swinski’s leadership, DiSTI has grown from a startup to a dominant force in the simulation and training market over the last three decades. Since its founding in 1994, DiSTI has delivered cutting-edge solutions to clients across aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, medical, and the defense industries, experiencing unprecedented growth and earning a reputation for innovative and immersive solutions.

“Joe’s vision and dedication over the past 30 years have been the foundation of DiSTI’s success,” said Jason Thagard. “I am honored to build on this legacy as we continue to innovate and expand our global footprint in the simulation and training markets, and beyond.”

Mr. Thagard brings over 25 years of experience in software development, project management, and strategic leadership. He holds both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s from the University of Florida. Additionally, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has been actively involved in various industry associations.

Prior to joining DiSTI, Mr. Thagard held key positions at several technology firms, where he was instrumental in driving growth and innovation. In his new role, he will oversee DiSTI’s operations, focusing on expanding the company’s market presence and enhancing its product offerings to meet the evolving needs of clients worldwide.
